Canvas Shoulder Bag

Made from 16 oz Cotton Duck Canvas, and some careful design, this shoulder bag is understated, fun – and hardly weighs a thing!

It has an adjustable strap so it can be worn comfortably over the shoulder or lengthened and worn ‘courier’ style across the body.  The shoulder strap is also fully detachable so – if you fancy it – you can personalise your bag with your own strap.

Available in the ‘natural’ shade of canvas, with a sturdy, woven 100% cotton strap, this 10 litre bag (at least) has a bright orange 7cm wide stripe, double stitched French side seams and a triple stitched rectangular base secured with binding to provide a clean, unfussy interior.  As far as possible, all materials are sourced from the UK (excluding the strap adjuster, D links and swivel hooks.)

The shoulder strap length is 50″ which is the standard cross-body length.  If you are a smaller frame, you may prefer a 45″ strap.  You can request this when you make your order or DM me.

The shoulder bag features a magnetic closing button and a specially designed deep pocket for storing your phone.

Measurements:  40cm highest sides by 38cm wide with a rectangular base 28cm x 10cm;  the phone pocket is approx 12 cm by 23 cm;

Cleaning instructions: Occasionally, you can machine wash your bag in a short, cool cycle.  Once washed, remove it from your machine, reshape the bag and let it dry naturally.  Wash the strap separately by hand and hang to dry.  Some shrinkage will occur (approx 1 cm overall) but there will be very little colour fade.   Note:  machine washing will reduce the stiffness of the bag so over time it will become more ‘floppy’.

Special qualities:  Duck canvas is a very strong, tightly woven traditional material and one of its special qualities is that it has a durable water repellent finish.  This water repellent finish also gives protection from stains and spills.
